FRIDAY APRIL 7, 2006
On Friday April 7,2006 Douglas Grover of Thompson Hine LLP, the lead defense attorney in the Brooklyn District Attorneys office indictment against former Supervisory Special Agent Lin DeVecchio, filed a motion in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York asking that the indictment of Mr. DeVecchio be moved to that court. All of the accusations against Mr. DeVecchio occurred while he was a on duty as a Special Agent of the FBI.

Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes said that the motion is without foundation and stated " I would be surprised if the federal court paid any attention to it."

The motion was assigned to US District Judge Frederic Block.
